What Goes Up, Must Come Down

Weeeeee. I finally got to slide down the mountain! And I did it twice! I wish you could get an all day pass. You could easily go off the track and get hurt if you did not slow down in spots, but it is worth the trip-not falling, that is. It takes about 5 minutes to ride up to the top in a chairlift. The bar does not lock down in place and you can leave it up if you choose-just hanging in the chair! I rode up with April's brother as you can see. On the way up you can see Mount Rushmore and also there is a viewing deck at the top. You are way up there. Very fun.

April's brother and family left this morning about 8:30. We had some good times while they were here. I think they had a good time too. They told me I was a good tour guide. I know they went to Rushmore Cave, 1880's train, Sturgis, Crazy Horse Mountain, Mount Rushmore (twice), Custer State Park-Needles Highway-Wildlife Loop (three times), went on the Alpine Lift/Slide, walked the shops in Keystone, Sturgis, Custer, and Hill City, spent time in the pool, played ladder ball, and had a few campfires and more. They saw hundreds of Buffalo, deer, prairie dogs, elk, and of course the begging donkeys! They got their van licked by the donkeys and we got our car licked by a Buffalo! Way to close, but no where to go! We forgot our camera yesterday, sorry. The computer is working again, so finally something good happened. Not sure what we will do today, or just be lazy.
