Here is the report from the Rapid City Journal on the storm on August 3rd. I hope you can read it. Hard to believe the totals in the short amount of time.
Well we are in the middle of the Sturgis Bike Rally. There is a constant rumble of bikes going by the resort, either on the way to or from Mount Rushmore. They all have to go to see the monument while here. All the towns around close their main streets to auto traffic--only bikes until the rally is over. Take care.
